I need help. I have a 2 year old male. I purchased a female who is now 5 months old. I have her in a crate. She is allowed to be out and play while we can supervise her. She is on a set schedule for feeding and going out. She regularly holds her potty 8 or more hours if she is in the crate or leashed to me. She refuses to potty outside to the point that she will sit at the door and cry to come in so she can potty. She does not sniff around. She just pees. I have read books, taken her to vet, ordered videos, everything I can think of. The really bad part is my male is taking it upon himself to try and mark over her scent all over the house. I clean with enzyme cleaner. Had the carpet professionally cleaned for pet urine odors. At this point , I really need new carpet. I am at a loss. He was trained before her. I love her, but just wonder if I need to cut my losses and sale her. Please give me some ideas to try and get her trained and my little man back on track. |
