Most are actually thrilled when they see him. I get a lot of compliments on his size and how they prefer it, so I've actually never had a negative experience.

What I do find funny is how many people have asked me if he's a Silky Terrier, and I am amazed at the number of people who even KNOW what a Silky Terrier is!! I never knew until after getting Jackson.
Same with our Harry! I've been asked if he's a Silky or a Skye Terrier or a Dandie Dinmont or a crossbreed - I just look them straight in the eye and explain "no, he's a pure-bred Yorkie, but a good old-fashioned one, and as you probably know, all of these genetics were in the make-up of the original Yorkie breed".

I don't really think anyone does really know, but they go away looking confused and we walk the other way, looking a bit smug!! Sally + Harry x
