There's been other threads that provided information regarding this recall but it's good to post again just to make sure everyone knows and that our little ones are SAFE!!!

It is important to note though that Diamond Pet Food Company manufactures a number of brands including Diamond Pet Food, Country Value, Professional, Premium Edge, Chicken Soup, Canine Club, and Kirkland Signature (Costco's brand). Although they claim that not all foods were contaminated.

The toxic pet food were manufactured in Diamond's Gaston S.C. facility. To check if the food in your possession is from the Gaston plant, a capital "G" (in reference to Gaston) in the 11th or 12th position of the date code (18 lb. to 55 lb. bags), and the capital "G" will be in the 9th position on smaller 4 lb. to 8 lb. bags.

I was going to switch my puppy to Chicken Soup, and although Chicken Soup is not a part of the recall and I'm not a part of the affected states... it's probably better safe than sorry.
