Ellie's bile acids came back at 47 post, then 15 post, then 106 post. When it went to 106, we did go to a specialist (I assume the same one that you have a recommendation for) for an U/S.
If your vet wants you to go or you would be more comfortable, then go for it. I really wouldn't expect any liver abnormalities as far as shunt goes with that number though. Maybe MVD? ..which wouldn't be seen on U/S. I think you can be about 99% sure this is not a shunt. Theoretically possible, but highly improbable. | Crystal I'm so happy you responded.
