My Teddy was a bony waif until his 2nd birthday. He finally started filling out, building muscle after age 2. Max started filling out earlier, right after age 1. Depends on the dog.
I can't think of any way allergies would affect body shape/weight unless exercise or eating is impeded in some way. Don't be anxious to put weight on her by overfeeding. You may regret it later.
