It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye is not just a saying in your house I guess.

I grew up with GSDs and I can tell you this - I would not allow one in the house with my yorkies. I don't care how well it is trained. I know others disagree here but I'm not risking my yorkies. They can play with each other and others like them (meaning 15 lbs or under). We cross the street when we see big dogs, I have zero interest in socializing with them.

Before anyone calls me a big dog hater again don't bother - I grew up GSDs and so did my husband and we love the breed. I just love my yorkies more and I don't think large dogs belong in households with yorkies. My opinion and I'm sticking to it.
