Stacy youre right CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) will cross AKC to CKC and a few other international registries.
CKC (Continental Kennel Club) will allow you to register your AKC papered dog to CKC. In breeding if you have a litter with a CKC/AKA match it can only be registered as CKC!
