Yorkie's do not have the under coat like many other breeds so i would advise waiting until spring before making the trip to the groomer,gives you time to check out the groomers in your area also.
And hopfully she'll get use to a warm sweater or coat,wouldn't take her outside in cold weather without one is my advise.
We had our little one with us at the lake here in Arizona in the winter without and she was so cold one nite she was beside herself,finally got smart and stuffed her down inside in my sleeping bag and that solved the problem.
Next day left for home rather than run the risk of her getting sick.
