i've had 5 male dogs, 3 females come through my home while I was fostering.
i find it's more a matter of size.
my big dogs never needed potty trained, however were much less likely to pick up on routine as fast.
my little dogs were harder to potty train... by just a little, but they picked up on things like when it's time to eat, time to go night night, etc much easier.
my little dogs seemed to mature faster.
and as far as coats, i'm of no help there :/ I know that Maci's grows super fast. |
