Hello everyone ~ I will be getting a Yorkie very soon.
In looking @ Yorkies on the 'net, I kept running into "parti" Yorkies and "Biewer" Yorkies.....what in the world are they?

They are not recognized by AKC, are they?

I thought all Yorkies were supposed to start out black and tan, and then turn blue-gray and tan....

I've read the AKC breed standard for Yorkies, and it doesn't mention these other "types."
