Bentley thinks he's huge. He's only 4.5lbs. A good example...the other day we were on our daily walk and out of no where these two pitbull puppies (much bigger than Bentley, puppies or not) came around the corner and were trying to play and Bentley threw a fit. He was lunging and growling at them. He's very protective of our children (one 2 yr old and one 6 month old) and they were with us. Guess he just wasn't comfortable with them that close to the stroller. Thank goodness they were only puppies. Anytime we are on a walk we go to the other side of the street when we see another dog and usually the owner says, "oh, he/she wouldn't hurt him." My response is always, "oh, I'm not worried about your dog hurting him, I'm worried about what he may do to yours." They always look at me like I'm joking but really, he's a pit bull in a yorkie body. Haha! |
