Thanks for the advice. I removed the dring and left it as just a dress. I used the xtra fabric to make a coat style with dring. I was also concerned with the Velcro coming undone. I sewed in almost 5 inches long by 2 in inches wide of Velcro on the chest and 2 inches on he neck just in case. I tested it in the house and so far it doesnt come undone. Roxy is about 4.5 lbs so hopefully she wont break free. I still worry of course.
