That's what I thought too, but some of the more knowledgeable ladies here schooled me. I was brought up on never brush your hair wet when it is at its weakest. Now I have been told that brushing hair wet with no conditioner will break hair, if you have conditioner it will smooth it out. Same with yorkie hair. That is why I still have a hard time remembering to spray before I brush.

I try to grow a coat on Uni. I was brushing her dry. Now I am brushing her with spray (most times) and keep her in a shirt to keep her from scratching, and her hair is growing. Keeping fingers crossed her coat will grow past her knees.
