Summer is out of the hospital!
She seems ok ... a bit painful when I put her E Collar on but is walking around and ate like a little piglet just now.
She has a ton of meds to continue taking.
I took Gabby along since my son is just not into the "expressing" thing.
He came to my home to let my pups out because it is a 2.5 hour trip each way....and of course we were there for what seemed like forever. Gabby does very well in the car. And, Lolasmom1211 went along thank goodness. It was so nice to have her company and I know Summer loved being held by her on the way home.
Her neck is wrapped so I have not seen it, but the student said she is basically stitched from one side of her neck to the other. I had her E Collar off for a while and she jumped when I put it back on..made me feel so sad.
She does have pain meds to take....and ice is to be applied 3 times/day.
