I have 4 kids (2boys and 2girls)..I am not an "uptight" mom.. But come on!!! When the kids come over to my house I give them a snack and juice and they play outside IF IT'S NOT RAINING!!! otherwise they stay in and do something inside. My oldest son is 22 and I have never, ever picked him up from a friends house and they were out in the rain!!
What kid doesn't want to play in the rain? but who is the adult? Let your kids play in the rain if you want but don't let my kid do it. My kids played in the rain also but I was the one who said it was ok. I mean they have on school clothes I just dont get it. Especially this was the first time he was over there. It's not like she knows me and would assume it would be ok. I think that decision was irresponsible of her. She could of at least had him call me and ask.
