you know, i don't really mind the word "teacup" to be used as "diminutive in size" or "really small". but it does annoy me when the word is used in 2 instances...A. as if it's a breed of its own, like poodles come in standard, miniature, toy, and "teacup". or B. as if "non-teacup" or standard means less valuable, not as cute, not as special, plain jane and common. my non-standard yorkie is special damn it!!
i'm also waiting for the day that "teacups" come in 3 sizes... tall, grande, and venti.
