Hello,
I am going to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico ends of October, and I have been looking for a dog sitter or boarding for dogs here in NYC, the thing is, I don't really trust any of the places i have seem so far, must of them keep the dogs in kennels, i DO NOT WANT MY BABY LUCKED IN A CAGE ALL DAY LONG.!plus she has long hair and needs to get her hair brushed daily and i am sure no one will take the time to brush her even if I am paying them to do so.
So, I was thinking about bringing lola to Puerto Vallarta with me, she has all of her vaccines , and 4 months ago I a took her to the vet for her annual check. But my main concern is bringing her with me and having to leave her at the airport on quarantine.
My last flight from costa rica to the USA was a nightmare and even when i had her papers some guy from continental told me i was going to have to leave her there for quarantine because they wanted to have a health certificate signed within 5 days prior to my flight,.

Do you think that could happen in mexico too? i just don't want to spend the money in tickets and hotels plus her new vet's health certificate and having to cancel my flight cuz they want lola to be on quarantine.
Has anyone brought their yorkies to mexico???Did you have any problems with the airline or agriculture department???
