If people would only stop and realize that basic hand washing is the key. I am a nurse also and work in a hospital-I have not had a sick day in 11 years. I am a wound care specialist so I'm dealing with some of the worst bacteria out there and practice safe patient care. The only horrible infection I have had was about 15 yrs ago in my thumb and I got that from having my nails done at a salon.
We all have bacteria-our skin is loaded with it. This poor little one is on antibiotics, this makes her more prone to infection as antibiotics kill the healthy bacteria while killing the nasty bacteria.
Let's just pray for positive outcomes for this little girl.
