I think that if your dog is doing well on the formula, goes to the bathroom, good appetite, no vomiting etc then I wouldn't particularly worry about it. Was there a particular reason you went with the NB LID in the first place? Did you notice food sensitivities or was that just the first food you picked and worked?
I went with NB first because that is what I've had my kitty Suki on for years after I found she had allergies. She does great on NB! The girls did fine on NB, but as I said they were out. They seem to like BB more, so I thought I would ask about keeping them on it.

I considered BB in the past, but I went with NB because the protein content was lower and my YT for Dummies book advised against foods too high in protein. I am now more confident in my abilities as an owner to detect if anything was going wrong with them from the higher protein, which I wasn't when I brought Rylie home. In addition, I wanted to have them on NB in case my cat accidentally got into their bowls when I wasn't around or something because she *is* allergic. She has pretty much left their stuff alone though. There were a few other reasons I originally went with NB.

For another, BB didn't have the Wilderness brand when I was originally considering it and I really wanted grain free. I thought Wilderness would be good since it is grain free like NB and is also made of actual meat!

I think we'll try the BB this time as the big bag and see how they do. We can always switch back.

Thank you so much everyone for your input. I really appreciate it. You are all right in that I should do what works best for my girls and that people may have negative opinions that may not apply to me. However, I had a worry-wart mama moment when I saw that suddenly BB wasn't as praised. They seem to really like it so far though and I think their poops are actually better!
