Be prepared for Ginger to pout for a few days. Both my kids are away at University. When they are home for visits ZoE loves it! When they leave she is depressed for a few days and goes around the house looking for them.
I don't like to close the doors to the kids bedrooms for weeks on end, so I bought gates to put in their doorwayss so air still circulates. After their most recent visit home, before the start of this fall semester, ZoE climbed the gate to go sleep on my daughter's bed. ZoE has also dragged dirty laundry they've left here....I'm not talking lil socks...I'm talking heavy sweatshirts...into her bed to snuggle with. It's the cutest thing...but kinda sad too.
