Thank you everyone for your input....we have been working up to jogging 2 miles...Furgie is loving it and actually when I think I should walk that I might be pushing it for her....she is the one sprinting ahead and I am like oookay...let me start running again! LOL

Is there any kind of "doggy back pack" you recommend??? Thank for the info! Very impressive your hike up the mountain!!!
