arg, i feel this! Ziggy does the same thing.. to the extream that he will stop eating and walking away with me if i leave the room. i have now just decided to stay in the room with him till he's done eating. or i take a hand full out with me and hand feed him. BUT i know this wont work once i have a job, so i actually gave food time a command. i tell him "eat" then once he starts i walk out.. he's getting really good with this and will usually stay and finish then come find me. also i free feed him, so he nibbles through the day so i dont worry too much about him getting enough food. by the end of the night he's finished most of his food.
