Interesting. I would be willing to consider this, or another thread I've seen here, vasectomies for male dogs. There are physical consequences to sterilization (such as greater bone growth), and alternate strategies might be healthier. On the other hand, they might not. I'd wait until there was some good data on what the healthiest option was.
