I've used human shampoo and conditioner on my girls with no trouble at all, but there's supposedly some difference in the Ph levels of our skin vs. theirs, so I don't know if it's good to do it all the time. If you do, just make sure to rinse rinse and rinse very thoroughly. I think that's where any irritation would come from, if residue was left behind. Some dogs' skin is more sensitive than others, just like us
On their faces, I just would use a wet cloth with a tiny bit of baby shampoo on it, then another clean wet cloth, keep rinsing and wiping a few times. Boy I love that baby shampoo smell on my girls
Now they got to the groomer every two weeks, so unless they get very stinky in between, I rarely bathe them myself anymore. I kind of miss it
