We did wonder if he has some kind of an allergy as we've noticed he has a tendancy to scratch too, not a lot but its noticeable so I think a trip to the vet is in order. Being a rescue dog we don't really know a lot about his history.
When I say he's niffy I dont mean its offensive, just you're typical 'doggy' smell. We've had him 2 weeks tomorrow now and already he's been in the bath 3 times. We've been using off the shelf stuff, so I'll definately see if I can find the Groomers make you mentioned and try that, got to admit, Lavender sounds scrumptciuous!
Re his diet, he's been eating the food that his other mummy gave us but I have been thinking he needs something a little more palletable. Got to admit I never thought about dogs smelling of the food that they eat, but LOL ... guess its the same as us and garlic breath!
