So I spoke with the vet today and he said that the results of the bile acids test were elevated. Blood taken after she ate came back at 37 (when it should be under 15). The vet is having me switch her food now to Hill's Science Diet L/D and in about 2 weeks have her come back in for another bile acids test. He thinks she may have a small liver shunt. Does anyone else have a pup with a liver shunt? and if so, could you offer me any advice? Thanks.
