Oh my gosh how sad. I am so sorry this has happened to your friend. Poor baby. RIP Rosco. I have sent cards to friends that have lost pets. They are part of my family and I know others feel the same way. I think a card is just fine to do in this situation. As far as what to tell her, really all I can think of is telling her how sorry you are and that you are there for her if she needs you. When I lost my Beagles I just had to work it out. I had to cry and cry to make it better for me. I still cry thinking about them. I really don't think you ever forget about a pet that you love. But time does heal wounds and it will get better for her. Just be there for her. I think that is the best thing you can do. |
