My friend from work got a call from her Mom, Her Mom said that she needed to come home and take care of Rosco ( Her 3 year old Pit bull)

Her Mom said when she got hom Rosco was on the ground shaking and not really moving, he was breathing and panting. Sarah rushed home.

She said she would call me. I texted her to check in about 5 she texted me back with "its not good, Ill call you when I can"

Well I just got a text from her, "hes gone" she then texted me that the Vet said he had a seizure and probably couldnt get to his water, his temp was 107 and it caused brain damage.

I am not sure what happened. I know that she leaves him outside when she is at work, I know it was about 100 today. I know she gives him shade, food and water..

I am so sad for her, I dont even know what to tell her or how I support her. I want to get her some flowers and a card... Is that too much? Ive never really had to deal with a friend loosing a pet so I am not sure what I should do?

Thoughts?
