Question Tomato Ketchup?

Good evening! Another question, please!

My OH is very proud of our garden - especially the lawn!!! We've (nearly) always had 'girl dogs' - with the brown wee-wee patches that go with them! Harry's been lifting his leg for a few months now - on the tree and the fence-posts etc., but also on the grass. As he's still a baby I don't particularly want to change him from doing that (just grateful he always goes outside!) but I've been looking into what I can do to stop him killing the grass!

One of the solutions that keeps cropping up is putting a squirt of tomato ketchup on their food - but I thought tomatoes were bad for our babies? What do you think?

Apart from getting rid of your husbands and laying astro-turf, please do you have any suggestions/remedies?! Sally + Harry x
