A lot of people in England seem to be doing pet-sitting (doggy day care) in their own homes - I think the recession has really hit and people are trying their hand at other stuff. How your babies are when they get back home is your best indicator. Also to check out the sitters insurance/how many dogs they look after at one time etc. And yes, to drop in sometimes if you can (Harry heard me at the door, had a quick jump and a lot of licks, then went back to his new friend - brilliant!)
