If they had a dewormer that did not include drontal or equivalent, it wouldn't cover tapes. If the dogs are on monthly heartgard or interceptor than it is unlikely they have tapeworms. So when you say they had a dewormer and no worms and no symptoms, do you mean they had their monthly prevention? If not, you need a fecal. If the dogs are on monthly then the worms are coming from some place else. I find it hard to fathom that a household fly is laying maggot eggs that are surviving in sanitary conditions. If that is the case, call an exterminator to bomb your apartment.
