Both male and females will hump if you allow them to. I have a friend who's female humps her bed. It doesn't bother my friend so she allows her female yorkie to do it. I have a male, and he's not allowed. He doesn't even bother trying. He only tried to hump my roommate's dog when he first came home. I didn't allow it then and he never tried it again. I've had him for 2 years now.
