I have 2 babys Tibbers and Bella and I'm in the process of potty training! What I do is the pee pads for Tibbers he broke his leg and had to be crated for 4 weeks and he would not go in his crate because he knew he had to live in there so I got him out ever hour or two took him to the pad let him do his stuff then give him a treat! Now that he is all healed up he pees and poops on the pad most of the time he maybe had one or two accidents a week ... witch I think is pretty good for a 24 week old! He does sometimes poop beside the pad sometime.... but its in the laundry room on tile so I don't get too upset as long as its really close to the pad he will also go outside if I take him. Now my princess Bella....she is a whole different ball game....When I first got her she was doing so good with the pad however she slowly stopped using it and using my floor :0 So I have been doing strictly outside with her. I take her out every hour or 1/2 hour because she is so tiny. Shes been doing ok sometime she sometime will hold it and still pee in the house. At night they use to go in the crate where she would pee and sometime poop but now I have got a great pen and for some reason she wont go in there she will hold it until I get up and take her out so that a little progress!
