This is all very interesting. My personally feeling on what a 'breeder' is, is someone that has put the time and effeort and love in reproducing a pair of animials of what ever kind. I've always thought you had to be somene serious and dedicated to earn the title 'breeder'. Like many have mentioned on this thread, unfortunately that's not the case. I guess that's why we have certain classifications of different 'types' of breeders: Backyard Breeders, Hobby Breeders, Show Breeders. I am going to start another thread on the different types of breeders I am curious to see how others describe certan 'types' of breeders.

I really enjoyed reading all the views on this thread. I was actaully able to understand the points and opinions of others. It's nice when we can agree to disagree and just leave it at that!
