Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers. I hope no one gets tired of my updates.
Lulu is still doing great! She's still on IV fluids and still receiving the meds. She will get to try some food tomorrow and if that goes well & everything else looks good, she will get to come home!!
I miss her so much & can't wait to snuggle up with her and give her some lovings.
A few questions for those with experience with pancreatitis...I asked if she would need to be fed a special diet & they said she can go back to her normal food
slowly, just no table foods (she didn't get that anyway...at least not intentionally.) Is this normal or should I look into switching her food) She eats TOTW High Prarie kibble and gets a small bit of wet mixed with kibble at night. She also takes glucosamine supplements for her LP and I have to wrap it in a small bite of cheese for her to eat it...from my research, this should be avoided now so what can I use to make her take her pill as she will not take it without the cheese.
