Welcome! Ok... First off congratulations on your first yorkie! They are fabulous, smart, cute dogs! Potty training isn't the easiest thing to train a yorkie, but don't give up! You need to take your dog out after they eat, play, wake up... Ect. I would say every 15 mins. There bladders are TINY!! As soon as she goes outside get really exited praise her pet her and give her a treat. Crate training is the easiest way and you might want to try that. You put the dog in their at night, and sometimes during the day for short amounts of time. TAke your baby out once it's out of the crate. Maybe putting a blanket over the top to calm her or him down or to get it dark inside. You might want to buy baby gates to lock off areas you don't want her in. We had Bailey in the kitchen for about 1 year so she couldn't potty on my nice rugs! Occasionally they will have accidents, we tried to bring her over and tell her no but they dot coming! We tried sprays and all that. In the end we ended having to stick her nose in the pee so that she would know and then take her out immediately. She will eventually start to wine at the door when she or he needs to go outside.... Hopefully. She will connect, the. Give her a treat when shes done ging potty. I hope this helps!!!
