We made out well, lost a few pieces of siding, have a little water in the basement and we were without power for 15 hours. The stuff in our freezer was about to defrost so we gave it all to our son who still had power.
I was afraid the dogs wouldn't do well but believe it or not they went right out peed and ran back in.
