Unfortunately someone on our block where we used to live put antifreeze in the little cups that hold the bolts in the light standards all along our block and Romeo found it on our walk (unknown to me at the time) he passed away 36 hpurs later. He was only 2 1/2 year old. I have never quite recovered from his loss. even at 2 1/2 he was still under 3 pounds and never really filled out, I suppose that would have come in time, but I worried all the time cause he was so skinny so I know what you mean.
Thank you! That's so sad, I couldn't imagine going through that.
Juliette has gotten much bigger, although she's only at 3 lbs. I started feeding her the Royal Canin and it has really made a shocking difference. Her coat has gotten so shiny and beautiful from it. You'd never know she was the same puppy we picked up on Christmas Eve. Romeo is 5.5 lbs and we have a cat named Trippy that's about 13 lbs., but Juliette is the boss. Her sister is also doing very well and she is much bigger, over 5 lbs.

I still see ads posted from the lady we got them from and it really worries me. I'm sure she probably started out well but I think she got in over her head and just can't handle it anymore. But I'm very happy that things turned out well for Juliette, she had me worried for a while.
