Wouldn't it be better to consult and expert like Barney suggested? I understand what she means by individualizing meals to the dog. I have limited knowledge in human nutrition, so this makes sense to me. If I were you, I wouldn't go it alone and try foods without knowing what I'm doing right or wrong. Regular vets are awesome, but like human doctors, they are general practitioners. Consult someone who specializes in canine nutrition for the best results. I wish you luck!
