As for my OP request about purchasing another Yorkie less than $500, allow me to clarify what I meant. We never could have afforded to purchase a Yorkie this year. That's why when the possibility to keep Lily was given to us, we were so thrilled. Even if we aren't able to get Lily back (which is unlikely, I HOPE!), we will get another Yorkie next year when we can afford it. I probably didn't explain that so well and sounded "desperate for a cheap Yorkie" in my original post. That wasn't my intention. We were just so shocked and hurt about Lily, all I could think of was what do I do, and even thinking we should find another Yorkie right away because I didn't think we would be able to get her back. The void of her absence has been tough. I never thought I would love a little dog so much!
As for updates: I spoke with Ojai for some legal advice as to my rights and to come up with a good plan to get Lily back. Working to get a hold of son-in-law so we can speak with him and see what direction we will be taking. |
