I just saw an AKC rep on a cable news network speaking about the rise in dog thefts in this country. She said not to leave pets in cars ( I hope everyone knew that one), not to leave them tied outside a store and not to leave unattended in your yard. She also mentioned that dogs, especially small dogs, are being taken during home invasions. They will take your TV and other electronic devices, money, and you dog! What a world we live in!
Apparently AKC is on a mission with this message as this is not the first I have heard them speaking about this. |
