This is my biggest fear. I got my girl microchipped soon after I got her because of that. And always wears her collar with her microchip number and id tags. I am constantly afraid of someone breaking into my house and taking her which is why she comes to work with me. I hate leaving her.
One if the people I work with has 3 toy poodles and a chi. He was walking them one morning at his home and watched a car drive by and stop. A woman got out of the car and started for his smallest poodle. He then stepped away from the tree he was standing by and the woman saw him and took off. I couldn't believe it when he told me. There were kids in the car too telling the mom to go get the little dog. And that poor poodle has a health problem if she had taken him he wouldn't survive. I can't believe the nerve of some people! |
