Welcome to YT!! I know sometimes the humane society is a good place to look for a dog watcher. We live in a small town also and don't have too many options for day care. I'm lucky enough to be able to stay at home and both yorkies are trained to go just outside. It's hard in the beginning but if the time is put in early for training then I'm sure you'll have your pup trained soon. Even four hours is much too long but hopefully you can find someone to take care of your pup while you're at work. Maybe you could find an older person with a fenced in yard, as long as they supervise your pup, and he could stay in their home during working hours - kind of a surrogate parent thing. Good luck!
