the small town thing...i know that one. check care.com just in case someone is listed as a pet sitter on there. talk to the local kids about an after school job to help out with one let out a day at least or maybe two?
you can check with the local vets about setting up a private kennel away from the other dogs to keep him during the day for his own private dog daycare. we did that for a few new pups that needed some loving and outside time.
