That is good. One thing that helped me was having the security of a "pack". But here's a tips from a NOW smokeless person.
DO NOT KEEP THE CIGS HANDY. By that I mean set a rule NOW.
No smoking in the house. Keep the cigs as far away as possible. i.e. keep cigs in your vehicle while you are working or at home.
Do not make it easy to REACH that cig when you are on the phone or on the computer. Make it somewhat difficult to get a cig. In other words you have to make a effort to get up and to get the cig.......hopefully you will "think" before lighting up.
IF you manage to reduce the cigarettes to just a few a day you will find it increasing more difficult to light up. As the cigarette "smell" leaves your body....the new addition of cigarette smoke will become too strong. I know it made me sick to my stomach.
Then I suffered my heart problems and there was no more kidding around.....it was cold turkey! But each person must make up their own mind to do this.
