Poor Armani, I'm sorry he had a rough night. Max's last ulcer, after the doctor did the stain and exam, was really miserable that first night, so you have my sympathy. Within 30 hours, the ulcer healed almost completely. I pray Armani has the same luck.
As for the groomer, I would be worried too and discuss it with your vet, but I believe that if the ulcer was the result of traumatic injury, it would have shown by the next day.
