I don't think 4-5 days is enough time to even see if the food is sitting well with him. It can take weeks for a food to affect their system.

Believe me, I am all for finding a palatable food that Jackson enjoys. He tends to be picky. But there also comes a point where enough is enough. I always mixed wet food in or something yummy in his meals to get him to eat.
But I have learned through his recent illness where he can no longer have treats, etc, that dogs are adaptable. He now eats pieces of kibble by itself as a treat which I never in a million years thought he would do.
Btw, most companies and stores let you returned opened bags of food for a refund with a receipt.
