 Baby teeth removal
Had my 8 mo old, 4 lb. Yorkie spayed and her baby teeth (which created a second row of teeth) removed at 6 mos. old. It's best to do both procedures at the same time to avoid another round of anesthesia. Insist your puppy not be given pain meds in addition to the initial anesthesia. I lost my 7 yr. old baby during a routine teeth cleaning when the vet gave her the pain meds. It was too much for her little body and she went into cardiac arrest. My new pup was not given meds for pain and she came through it just fine. |
