My point is, no matter if what, if you lose a beloved pet due to a dog attack, even if it is on someone else's property, it still hurts like HELL, and making light of the death is not right! JMHO!
I certainly agree with you. I love and care for all animals. Some people have some pretty strong feeling against cats and regard them in the same group as rodents. My point is that people are horribly upset when a little Yorkie is killed by another dog and yet if a cat is killed they have no problem with it. To me a dog that likes to kill is a liability and would need to be carefully kept away from other small animals and children.
I'm sorry about your cat. I know that some people develop just as strong a bond with their cats as they do with a dog. Cats are a different type of animal that serves a different purpose in nature. They have just as much of an ability to bond with a human as any dog does.
