PrencessDior-yes, as with any surgical procedure, regardless of severity, you run the risk of your pooch experiencing complications. There are both positive and negative aspects to both spaying and not spaying. There is plenty of info on the site if you do a search. You will find ample suggestions of the pros and cons and the different type surgeries available.

I urge you to research, weigh the options, and decide which would be the better road for YOU in YOUR situation. People here can give you their opinions and you can gather useful information to help w/ your decision, but in the end, you are the YOU are the only one who's content with the situation should be of importance. I guess what I am saying is, learn what you can, ask questions when neccessary (there are many here willing to help), but in the long run, make the decision based on what YOU feel is right.
